shooting pain through the arms, but not during wods

I have an appointment with a gp tomorrow, but until then my imagination is going crazy with what might be wrong. I want to see if anyone out there has something similar. I couldn't find anything while search the boards, so sorry if this is something that gets repeated a lot.

I'm having shooting pains from the shoulder/trap/neck area that go throughout both arms and hands. Particular points of pain are my outer shoulder, bicep, and the base of my hand. It hurts most when driving or at the computer. Oddly enough, it doesn't hurt during a wod (adrenaline?), even when overhead lifting. I have no limitations in range of motion or decreased arm strength or grip strength.

Do some nerve glides.. figure out which one(s) are tight:

Also, do some massage from your traps all the way down to your wrists/hands.

That should help it improve A LOT unless it's something more sinister in which case you should get it checked out anyway.

Cervical impingement is the other thing besides tight nerves that could do that and that's some bad stuff. I would actually go to an ortho instead because your GP may not know what he/she is doing especially if you exercise and/or are an athlete.

Do you sit in front of a computer for your job? If so, check the ergonomics of your work space. Bad posture can lead to all kinds of funky nerve impingement.
