Yukon Pro-Series 204

Ordered and recieved my York Pro Series 204 Stand (See picture). Does anyone know what the two chrome colored 90 degree handles inserted in the lower cross member do? I have no clue. They slide in place and just kind of sit there. Thanks.

Too flimsy for plates. I'm starting to think it is to attach other York equipment to it. Any other ideas????

Not bands. The bands would slide off.

Re: Yukon Pro-Series 204

I have those stands and I don't even have them in... I have no use for them. They are not for structural integrity, can't hold my plates, not for bands... just toss them.

I give up. I put my fractional plates and bar clamps on them for storage. Thanks all. If anyone does figure it out, please let me know.

Re: Yukon Pro-Series 204

Looks like Andy was right. I was carting the box out to the curb for tomorrow's garbage pickup and right on the box is a little picture with plates sitting on these handles. The pic has the caption "for use with regular plate" (whatever that is). Looks like they used 1 in plates. 17 inch bumpers don't even come close to fitting. May have been what Justin was hinting at by posting that picture. It's the same pic as on the box. If you look close at the upper right inset pic you'll see what I mean. Silly design, not capable of holding much weight. I was trying to apply common sense according to Charlie. Sorry, didn't mean to be so slow and dense.
