Ran both races in High School at a very competitive level. 100m 11.0 seconds is the time to beat for any high school track star... anything in the 10's is considered fastest in any given state.

400m time is good, but you can push it harder. Work that last turn as hard as you can and you'll hit 50 flat.

Yeah, I'd take them time gladly. I'm the same hieght and weight as you too!! Really great, you should find a track meet and see if you can do even better with the adraline flow of competion.

I'm new to CF and am also in my second week of training for a 4 by 800m competition this summer. I'd welcome any thoughts on preparing for the competition this summer. I'm 54 years old and running with 3 other guys who are similar in age and in good shape.

This was my first attempt at timing myself. My training mainly consistes of rowing (500m sprints or Tabata intervals) and plyo box jumps (5x5 at 36"). Weather is getting better out here so I am going to start adding a 5K run 2-3 X per week to increase overall endurance.

Good, good. I never even dreamt of an 11 sec 100m in HS. Maybe breaking mid 11s but after breaking 12 I never got much further.
My 400 back then was pretty close to yours. I was pretty excited about it back then, but never dreamt of breaking sub 50. One of the guys went to the city meet with a 46-400 but I do believe there were guys dusting that. I was always pretty erratic at meets and performance, but was pretty happy with mid to high 50s.

That 400 is a ballbuster. Good job and keep on going.
If I remember the 400 went run at about 97% speed for the first 250-300, then kick it into gear. Ugh, what a puker.
