I would almost like to say "Welcome to the world of Art DeVany!" I have been warning people in emails to cut and paste and copy and print what they like from Mr. DeVany because one day it will all vanish. Like the book promises, there is a chaotic pattern of internal fluctuations that have a hyperbolic inverse relationship to the mean of the transverse when dealing with Mr. DeVany's website.

It sorta just vanishes...

Well, the coreolis effect must have kicked in, because he's back up. I'd better get to cutting and pasting...

You mean you don't have VortexControl 6.0 with Beta influx capacitator? I think it's available as freeware.

To be perfectly honest, I have read fantastic stuff that came from Prof. De Vany, and for a while, I couldn't wait for what would pop up next on his blog.

However, I have been alienated by a number of positions and attitudes that seem to have been seeping through his posts at an ever-increasing rate.

Again, I have a lot of respect for the man, but I've been getting this odd fusion of a narcisistic/sourpuss vibe that I must admit, distracts my attention from what is otherwise great work.

Moving On
December 2, 2005 07:59 PM
I am moving the blog to another location and to another blogging software program. I cannot stand Movable Type and its many deficiencies. The archives and search do not work all that well, but they are servicable for new comers or those who have not looked at all the material on their topic of interest.

This blogging is weird anyway. I don't need any validation of my thinking or research. I do what I do and am satisfied with what little I have managed to know and do in my life. It is far beyond what I thought I might do and I am satisfied.

You can look for the site later on another server and software. It will appear at a theater near you sometime. Look for it or not. Your choice. I have a wife to care for and a grandson to be a friend and grandfather to.

And, I have a golf swing and riding style to perfect (not to mention a mind and body and softball swing). Not bad to have perfect health and do whatever I want to in this stage of life. I wish you all the same.

Enjoy the archives. I will leave them here for a while. Blogging is not all that hot, I doubt I will do much more of it.

The problem being, of course, that the archives aren't freakin' accessible!

Does this mean that he will no longer threaten to write his book? I was really interested to see what he would actually put in his book. I envisioned the layout would look something like this:

Chapter One: Why all joggers suck.
Chapter Two: Why young chicks think I’m hot.
Chapter Three: I’m too sexy for my shirt.
Chapter Four: I’m not a narcissist. I’m just really into myself.
Chapter Five: I’m right your wrong
Chapter Six: Why chicks dig me.
Chapter Seven: I’m never going to tell you what my program looks like.

And so on…
