Question (possibly naive) about box jumps (2/19 WOD). Am I supposed to jump off a 20" box and then immediately leap vertical or am I supposed to jump from one side of the box over the box and land on the other side and repeat. Any feedback is appreciated (thanks for helping a newbie).

Ryan,
Jump on the box and either step off or jump off the box. Repeat!

not naive at all. one person with whom i trained ( 20 years ago now ) routinely would jump sideways over a 20 inch high bench while holding 25 to 40 pound dumb-bells in each hand.
good question.
