Accreditation on Level 1 Cert

Asking this on behalf of a friend and fellow level 1 trainer...
She and I both got our certs before the ANSI was added on to it while her husband got his after the fact. His has the ANSI shtuff on it, whereas our older certs obviously don't. Got us wondering if there is a new cert for previously qualified. I figured one would just get the new cert after the 5 year recertification test...I can't really see HQ sending out tens of thousands of certificates that have a little ANSI sticker on 'em.

Re: Accreditation on Level 1 Cert

I believe you have to take the Level I ANSI test. Cost is minimal.

How long ago did you get your cert? I got mine back in February '10 while they were in the process of becoming ANSI certified. I took the old one home with me from the Level 1 and got the new accredited version in the mail a few weeks ago.

Yep-
I have 3 now - the first I received at my L1 in 2008, the next I received after I took the L1 test earlier this year, and I just received the ANSI stamped one in the mail a week or so ago.

Re: Accreditation on Level 1 Cert

I did my level 1 in July '10. However I've moved twice since then so I imagine they sent it to my old address.
