Regular Joe Beats MMA Fighter

Whats up guys Aaron here thought this would be a good story to share. Well it all begins with my buddy's asking what kind of workout I've been doing lately and i told them Crossfit. I have always been adapting and doing new workouts but I've stuck with Crossfit lately and love it. Anyway one of my buddies is a MMA fighter here in Oklahoma and this Saturday he wanted to fight me since he knows I'm in good shape. He has been training himself for over a year now. He weighs 210. I my self am a personal trainer and strength and conditioning coach, I also teach basic self defense to women and fight or flight response. I weigh 160. My buddy has had far more training on ground technique and take downs. Well anyway we decided on going five three minute rounds. The fight ended in the first round 2:32 in with my buddy laying on the ground gasping for air saying that the upper cut i gave him felt like a sledgehammer (Snatch, Push Press, and Cleans come in handy) the first thing he said when he got up was I had to get him started on Crossfit.

Didn't get it on youtube but his wife watched him get his *** kicked by the little guy.

haha nice you know it must me a good friend if you can upper cut him and still be friends afterwards!

Precisely why I ALWAYS look for the biggest guy in bad situations - nobody really remembers or faults you if you get beat by a guy bigger than you - nobody EVER forgets or let's you live it down if you get beat by a "Little guy" - Crossfitter or not!
