Are all fish oils created equal?

I use Carlson's "Finest Quality" fish oil. It's a liquid, tastes fine to me - I just swallow a chug out of the bottle.

Of course there are some sources which tout their pharmaceutical grade fish oil (the Fury, Kubric, Baran, Dr. Dave clan, for example) who would make you believe that their oil is the one to be trusted - obliquely suggesting that their's is the only "real deal."

Any thoughts out there??

I use Carlson's too and that was after reading so many recommendations for it on this board. I order it through amazon.com. When I re-order I'm going to buy coconut oil also and try it.

Paul, if you'd like some, just send me an email and we can do the transaction over PayPal.

I've had so much dang trouble with my web store. I'm beginning to wonder if it's worth it...

As for flavors, it all depends on how you plan to take it. If you take it straight, I'd suggest the orange or the cinnamon. Depending on the smoothies you make, the same flavors are good. The plain is fine if one doesn't want flavors.

All that said, I prefer the cinnamon. That is due to the inclusion of real cinnamon oil in the CLO, which could increase insulin sensitivity while providing your CLO and all its' goodness (vit. A & D, EPA, DHA). It also adds a nice little spiciness to a smoothie.
