Re: Reebok CrossFit OLY Lifter

I had sent a question to the Reebok site earlier, I'll post later when I get a response.

Per the reviews I've read, it is 3/4 an inch like most other oly shoes.

I measured 1" at the thickest point but maybe that's not how you measure. ???

I think you have to take your 1" number and subtract the mid-sole height to get the number you are looking for since your foot is in the shoe and not directly touching the ground.

I haven't measured mine, but I would think the heal height shouldn't be higher than .75".

Correct. Effective heel height is determined by subtracting the height of the mid-sole from the height of the heel and the lowest point of the heel cup. You can use a pair of good calipers to get a fairly accurate reading without needing to cut the shoe in half.

PS. the only reason i was looking at the womans was because i like the all white verses the black toe box

To my knowledge, women's shoes are typically not as wide as men's styles just because men have wider feet. I could be wrong though, this is just what I heard at the shoe store. I am sure if you don't have an overly wide foot that the women's version would be just fine.
