Just purchased Rogue R3

I just ordered a Rogue R3 based on the great feedback from this forum. Since I will only be able to bolt down the front uprights, I was thinking about the possibility of using two of the R4 stabilizer bars to mount the back uprights to the wall for stability.

Has anyone done this or heard about anyone trying this?

Re: Just purchased Rogue R3

I would just get the single weight storage arms and put one on each side at the bottom and keep your 45s on there.

Congrats on your purchase!!! I'm so jealous. Enjoy the R3, I'm currently saving up for the R4.

I thought about that but it would be really tight when doing banded DLs.

Bill sent me a couple stabilizers for free when I brought up bolting issues, but they don't work for my setup. You can have them for free if you want to pay shipping.

Why the R4 over the R3?

My preference is to have it further a way from the wall so that I have access to both sides of the rack. That is why I was looking at the R4 stablilizers as they are 43".

Why did the crossbars not work for your setup? I wanted to get them added to my order before it ships but I would hate to purchase the crossbars and find out that they don't solve my issue.

Re: Just purchased Rogue R3

I guess that one thing that I need to find out is if one can actually purchase two of the R4 stablilizer bars without purchasing an R4.

Hopefully Bill can chime in here. If not I will have to wait for Rogue to open tomorrow.
