CrossFit Green Bay Packers(?!)

I was on my team's web-site this a.m. and saw the interview with Dave Redding the Packer's Strength and Conditioning Coach. I was floored with the gross similarities between how he is training professional football players and what we do at CF. If you have nothing better to do with your time, it's pretty interesting (although the total interview is pretty long, 20 minutes).

Go to the right side of the page, you'll see the videos and click on "Dave Redding Strength Coord. April 1 Interview"

Wow. That's certainly a thousand times different than when I was there. We did some squats, but nothing like that. Sounds fun.

Re: CrossFit Green Bay Packers(?!)

I listed to the CF Radio interview with John Welborne and he said that lots of the training he did for pro football was very very similar to CF, the critical difference being that he and his trainers never thought to put a stop watch to it. It's amazing the difference that stop watch makes.
