Pain from ring dips ROM

Every time I get to the bottom of a ring dip, it's as if my arms are screaming that the ROM is too much or something. And now it's affecting other exercises too. I wish I knew exactly what this is so I might could do something a bit more proactive to combat it. It's up near my shoulder on the biceps side of my arm and it is radiating into my forearm a bit.

Anybody got advice? Please don't let it be stop doing ring dips for a while.

Re: Pain from ring dips ROM

The pain shoots all the way down your bicep from your anterior deltoid into your forearm?

It doesn't originate in my anterior delt, but at the biceps insertion, I think. But yes, it goes all the way into my forearm. I'm wondering if it is a secondary muscle like the brachialis, but I'm not sure. At any rate, it's a whopper. I just don't know what it is. Maybe muscle strain? It really feels like the muscle has just been over-stretched throughout its whole body (since it is sore throughout. . .it may not be over-stretched; that's just my best guess), but I've never done that to anything else, so I have nothing with which I can compare.
