....So maybe I'll be moving out of the squat rack soon.
Nice Vickie! Congrats! Moving to the big plates is very gratifying.

I think maybe the guy meant eccentric as in "weird".

Haha I took it as the eccentric phase of a lift! Slight misunderstanding as I have never looked at a deadlift as an "eccentric" movement, standing by yourself in a gym dancing and every now and again throwing punches and air kicks as though you were in the UFC is what i consider "eccentric" (For the record yes i have seen this at my Tafe gym, and yes I did loose my s**t laughing!)

I have seen this too! The guy I saw was wearing construction boots, camo shorts, and a bright yellow t-shirt promoting beer. He would do some very lame isolation lifts, stand up, grunt, then kick/punch the racks of plates. He seemed to have some screws loose upstairs and as far as dancing is concerned, I think he was mimicking this (work safe but keep away from easily frightened women and children)

People wish they could do the Haka like the ABs can... When you see a group of imposing, intimidating men like that doing the haka, and doing it with everything they have, it chills your spine.

i hate when people do the haka. especially the non maori kiwi's. especially in public... especially in my face. i dont mind the rugby guys doing it, and others doing it for traditional reasons but when some little fag is trying to be a big tough maori then i get annoyed.
