Hello, Everyone-I'm Gil, and I've been lurking around for quite a while, but never got around to posting. I am very impressed with the efficiency of CF workouts, in addition to the knowledge and respect for each other that's shown on this board, unlike others. I'm 39, former Marine, and have some wrestling and kickboxing experience-Nothing to brag about, but nevertheless enjoyed the training. I am looking to start BJJ sometime this summer, once I find a suitable school. I have been following Ross Enamait's
"Underground Guide", a bit of Steve Maxwell's idea's, Scrapper's, and some of my own. I utilize sandbags, BW, will start sledgehammer training, and weights. I did my first WOD on Sat. 20 squats,10 pushups, 5 pullups for 30 rounds-Completed all 30, with a little soreness today. I am also fortunate to have the friendship and knowledge of Matt, AKA "Ballast" from Ross' site-I look forward to learning more on CF-Thanks-Harold- Call me "Gil" Cureau.
