Hey Y'all, Just wanted to announce the opening of a new CrossFit affiliate in Redwood City (the fourth in the SF Bay Area). We are in Phase 1, so it is a little rough but ready to go. Classes start Monday, Feb. 13. Grand opening in a month, probably 2nd weekend in March. Check out the website, http://www.maddawgfitness.com.

In answer to some of the previous questions:
* I am doing this part time (I have a very full time, but very flexible "day job")
* Using link on CrossFit.com as only advirtising now, more on this soon.
* Funding has been through savings, family and Visa :-)
* Initial investment is in line with what most people have listed (around 10K including first months rent, deposit, basic equipment, fixing up the place, etc.)
* Hardest part: lease issues, buying equpment over the Internet, insurance, too many little tasks that end up taking hours instead of minutes
* Best part: So many people have been supportive and helpful with their time and knowlege. The work day building paralettes with mom, daughter, sister, brother-in-law and niece was really, really fun.
