Ryan's Workout Log
I usually keep all of my workouts logged in a book at home, but figured it wouldnt be a bad idea to do it on here as well.
Yesterdays workout 8-25-2014 1A. Pushups 4 x sub max (30-35-40-50) 1B. Box Jumps 4 sets of 2 @ 24 inches 2A. BB Front Squats-12 min AMRAP x 1 (95lbs-95lbs-135lbs-135lbs-135-185lbs-185lbs-135lbs) *Front Squats are always something I have been weak with, need to spend a lot more time working on them. FOR TIME. Had a 15 minute time cap and finished in 9 minutes 57 seconds 3A. KB Swings-30 x 1.5 POOD 3B. KB OH Lunge- 15 x side x 1 POOD 3C. T2B-30 3D. KB Goblet Squat-30 x 1.5 POOD 3E. Burpees-30 3F. Single Unders-150 (tried for double unders but my legs werent having it.) |

1A. E.m.o.t.m x 12 mins x 1 power cleans x 135 pounds 2A. 12 min amrap x 3 push presses started at 45 pounds and ended at 205 lbs 3A. 400 meter sprint x 4 Overall pretty good session |

20 minutes 1A. Every 20 seconds 1 muscle up from the ground. The first few minutes were easy, by the end i was shaking like crazy. 2A. For time 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 A. Kb swings x 1 pood B. Ab mat situps. Took exactly 8 minutes and i was spent after. |

Today is a rest day for me. Only thing i will be doing this evening is teaching a martial arts class and maybe a small recovery row

8-29-2014 workout
1A. BB POWER SNATCH-E.M.O.T.M X 6 MINUTES X 2 REPS @ 95LBS Was a good start to the workout, got the blood pumping 2A. BB BACK SQUAT 5 X 5 @ 185LBS 2B. RING DIPS 5 X 5 @ BODY WEIGHT Went with a lighter weight but really slowed the rep tempo down for a change of pace. Used the same slow tempo on the ring dips. FOR TIME 3A. BB OH SQUAT-15-10-5 @ 135 POUNDS 3B. 1 ARM KB SNATCH-20-15-10 @ 1.5 POOD 3C. PUSHUPS-25-20-15 @ BODY WEIGHT This freaking killed me, form got kinda sloppy with the OH Squats towards the end. |
