Can anyone recommend some good and simple neck strenghtening exercises. I'm looking for exercises that do not use weight training equipment, but rather rely on Isometric movements.

Try front and back bridging. This is all I do for neck. Benefits your lower back also. My back has always bothered me, but since I started doing these every day I am pain free.

Thanks Jeff. In perform the neck bridging, do you perform a certain number of reps (e.g. back and forth), or for a particular time?

I do both. If I am in a rush I will do 20-25 reps back and forth (slowly).
