It's true. He did it without much kipping also. Very impressive. Now it's hard to rationalize my inability to do them :-(

On the gymnastic rings (or a pullup bar) one does a pullup and then transitions into a dipon the rings. Coach posted a link to some video somewhere around here. One crossfit journal describes them in great detail and really provides the secret on how to do them.
