Post Why is Crossfit so Effective?

Hey guys and girls,

In response to why Crossfit works so well as a strength and conditioning program.

I think it has to do with the difference between an Exercise vs. Training mindset.

Re: Why is Crossfit so Effective?

I think this is a great short answer. I know personally, I started crossfit viewing it AS excercise... then a few weeks in realized that it was much more. seeing what other people could lift, how fast they could do certain things... amde me want to be able to do that too, and transformed my mindset into the training aspect. which then brought about the community aspect...

not sure about everybody else but for me a CrossFit style of training is basically like fight training without the headshots. I went to BJJ/muay thai gyms and trained way before I started going to the local CF box about 2 years and pre-fight training is pretty similar.
