I do NOT agree with the above posters that this shoe will be a rival to the Nike Romaleos or Adidas adistar (or whatever the name is). both the Nike and Adidas shoes are suited specifically to weightlifting.
In my opinion, these new shoes from INOV8 are designed to compete directly with the Reebok lifting shoe.
they are super light (lightest on the market), and the toe box is quite flexible.
I was told by the rep at their booth that they will be available in July and can be ordered through Rogue. they will also be available at their booth at the Games this year. I will definitely try them on at the Games.
I don't mean to resurrect an old thread but I had the same experience/same info (probably from the same dude) at the MA Regional. I wasn't able to try them on either, but...

Completely agree with Sean. This is not a competitor to the Aditrainer or Romaleos. It's more like a direct comp to the 'bok oly/crossfit shoe. In comparison to my orange Adi's...

Inov8's are WAY lighter!
Maybe a bit more flexible

Priced at $150 and available through Rogue and Again Faster in July. Dude also said they run big. Go a 1/2 size down.

Absolutely a competitor to the Reebok Olys. As far as I know, Games athletes can wear whatever shoes they want (versus everything else) so it's Inov8's one shot of getting their gear on the floor.

Looks like they got pushed another week.
RoadRunner has them for preorder, ship date 07/15 (WFS)

Wiggle (UK site) also has them for preorder, though with the old pre-production name/photos. (WFS)

If you sign up for their MVP buying program, you get 20% off your first purchase.
They (at least at RR) pushed them another week, apparently. I got impatient waiting for these and got Pendlays. And love them.
