Re: what meals do you like to cook?

Eggs, ground beef, steak, and broccoli. Sometimes I make chili, or stew some chicken up. I have very simple tastes when it comes to food.

Re: what meals do you like to cook?

Being honest: none, really. I ask my wife to cook everything for me. Luckily that is about two meals a day only.

Re: what meals do you like to cook?

I like to cook... everything.
Some days I'm more motivated than others, so I always have a few simple recipes in mind for when I'm busy or just don't feel like cooking. One of the simplest things in the world is to roast a whole chicken. Lightly brush it in olive oil, salt & pepper, place in a dish and bake at 375* for about an hour depending on the size of the chicken. Now you have meat to put in salads or as a base for about a million other dishes. Dont forget to save the drippings and bones to boil for stock later .

First I'll say: Kate I like your avatar.

But I normally just throw some meat in a pan and cut up some veggies. Like 2 lbs of hamburger, diced tomatoes, cut up onion, and pepper. Then it lasts me for a few days and taste amazing.

We do the same thing, but we cook a cup or two of rice and mix it in. If you're not worried about paleo, try it out. It's a major staple in our diet.

Yep, I used to make something similar in my young 20's. Hamburger, seasoning, tomato sauce. Dunno about the 2 days. More like 2 meals. So I used to cook up a whole pot of the biggest pot I had. Almost like making a meat sauce. Fry up the hamburger in a pan, drop into pot and let simmer. Like a chili without beans. I'd make the beans if I weren't so lazy. Good fiber.
