Go to foods

What are some of your go to foods? For meals and snack etc.

Besides protein sources like chicken fish and steak, I keep plenty of Ezekiel muffins, Greek yogurt, and protein powder on hand. For a snack I'll eat 4 eggs on a muffin.

When I was leaner but much smaller I kept tons of almonds around.

How bout u?

hard boiled eggs (3-4), greek yogurt with almond butter, sweet potatoes, occasional clif builders bar (mint chocolate or peanut butter are amazing).

Re: Go to foods

Some of my favorites are almonds, cashews, eggs, sweet potatoes, and coffee is a must.

Re: Go to foods

Eggs seem to be a common theme LOL. I second the coffee haha. I used to do a lot of sweet potatoes, but I'm lazy, and the ez bread is easier

Side note , I eat like 10 eggs a day, and red meat almost every day. Just had blood work done and my cholesterol is a perfect 132 total.

Re: Go to foods

Not really a snack, but almost every day I'll cook up some onions, bacon and greens (mustard, turnip, collards, spinach etc) together with dinner. Throw a little chia on top, it just doesn't get old.

Re: Go to foods

I have a lot of the above. Also I eat at least an avocado a day, gotta have it! I'm also a big fan of plain old coconuts. Cheap and great source of calories. Once you get your method of opening and cleaving the meat you are golden.

What type of beef jerky do you get? All the packaged beef jerkys that I see have sugar or massive preservatives.

Thanks.

When I was eating more eggs, sausage and red meat daily my total CHO number was actually lower than it is now. Most people are still shocked that you can eat such things and have such low numbers.
