Your right I'm not in ketosis, but in Paleo I should be utilizing the fat in my diet/body for energy even if I'm not in ketosis... Correct? Or does my body only get used to utilizing fat as the main energy source when I go into ketosis.
If you eat at maintenance, you won't lose bodyfat (by definition?). Ketosis is definitely not necessary, nor are carbohydrates evil. 60% Fat seems high, maybe lower it a bit and raise carbs.

Depleting glycogen stores in your body (through training) does improve fat oxidation. It's still not coming 100% from fat, ie. any caloric restriction like that usually causes muscle loss, which is why some people have refeeds to regain the slight muscle loss.

Re: Paleo Macros

Just an update. I just noticed in my fitday that my calorie calculation is off. I was using hamburger with bun as a calculation when I'm not actually eating the bun.

So I probably do have a calorie deficit for the last few days. I will fix that in the next few weeks.

Thanks all for your suggestions!

If it was me I'd increase carbo intake.

Lack of sleep and lack of calories can both cause this.
