I once saw a really simple gym from some military base on crossfit WOD page. This in mind, I took my kids and myself to a sand pit in a forest near our home, and trained with different sized rocks :-) I threw them in various ways, did clean&jerks with them, sprinted up and down hills and threw again. Great and fun workout!
