Just saw this for the first time and had to share it. I expect a couple of you may have seen this variation of push-up.

Its easier to start from your knees.

Hold a short dowel, stick, etc with one in each hand with about 1" protruding below your palm

Assume the push-up position but rather than resting on your hands, you support yourself with only the edge of the stick. Try doing a push-up. Its feels a lot like a dip, but if you vary the location of your hands, it feels very different.

That's a good one! They're sometimes called knife fighter pushups. Very challenging, but fun.

Tyler, the guy who showed me actually uses knives, but I didn't want to give anyone ideas...
