I have begun a basement gym. Ceiling height of nine feet. I need ideas for a rope deal. Hang rope from joist sit down pull up etc. Too tall to stand. Any ideas. Best space I have for the moment.

I use rope pullups as a sub. I bought a thick tow rope and attach it to my pull-up bar. I then do pullupshanging on to the rope...not perfect but an ok sub...towel pullups are similar.

Mike, I hung some ropes from my basement ceiling as well, and I just sit on my butt and climb up. Here's a pic of my setup.
