What I see the most is that you are supposed to keep your butt back the entire movement, but when you hit your sticking point you let your butt (and consequently knees)- and everything else- drift forward, so you can just "quad" it the rest of the way up.

I can't see your feet, but if I could, I bet your weight would shift from your heels to your toes each time.
