Help: My back is still rounding at the bottom of my squat

does anyone have specific advice for people who still round their backs out at the bottom of the squat? I've been doing crossfit for a while and Im finally fed up with it. I've watched the videos and poked around the forums for a little bit but I havent found out to exactly prevent my back from rounding at the bottom of the squat

Suggest you may want to watch the Mark Ripptoe video on the main page dated today (7th June 2009) this may answer the question better than anyone else.

1. Get Starting Strength. Read it.

2. Read/watch CF journals on squatting

3. Post up vids in digital coaching (side view)

Drop the weight and don't go up until you can get all of the prescribed reps without rounding your back. When that happens, go up in the weight.

Remember to hold a deep breath, keep your chest up, and don't look up.

both really good advice. the ripptoe video has a nice little anatomy lesson that will probably help your problem.
