Mabey common knowledge around here.

When I take flaxseed oil, fish oil or any other oil that is high in omega 3 should I take additional Vit. E to prevent oxidation?
If so what dose would be appropriate?

Thx, Jan.

As far as I know, Jan, most fish oils already contain Vitamin E to prevent oxidation - at least the fish oil in pill form.

Another reason why Carlson's fish oil is good, they have vitamin E in it along with their own anti-oxidant blend(not sure about the relative effectiveness of different anti-oxidants). But yes, polyunsaturated fats become oxidated pretty easily, so antioxidants are a good thing.
