Black Eleiko from Rogue - opinions?

Additional info says "bare steel". My lifting area is a basement, humidity can be high. Is a bare steel bar asking for rapid rusting problems vs normal Eleiko chrome?

Also, warranty seems ambiguous; "This enables us to give LIFETIME WARRANTY on all competition bars and international training bars", Does the Black Sport Training Bar carry the lifetime warranty?

Re: Black Eleiko from Rogue - opinions?

Definitely not bare steel, good mistake on our part on the bar attributes. The plating is a trade secret for Eleiko. We are planning a red Women's bar next. It seems to wear similar to Black Zinc or Chrome on the sleeves.

Yes it is guaranteed.

Two things are different between this bar and a Eleiko Training Bar

1) Bar is all black

2) Bar has 4 sets of needle bearings/sleeve vs 5. We did this to make it affordable. The spin is very nice

Let me know if you have any other questions

Bill

Red women's bar? I'm interested to see how that is going to look.
