Tracking Progress...

In my opinion, it is extremely important to diligently and thoroughly track your progress. Figuring out an efficient way to do this is no easy task. I've tried a lot of stuff over the years, both online and offline, and I think I've found some pretty great solutions.

Hit this link (work and family safe) for a post on my blog that covers how I track stuff in pretty good detail. Even included photos!

In short - I use a moleskine notebook to capture food, workouts, and other info on a daily basis. That goes into a google document so I can manipulate the data any way I want, and then I use beyond the whiteboard for its general awesomeness. The great thing about using a pen and paper notebook is that it works everywhere - internet or not - and you can always go back and update your online tools if you get behind on them.

What do you use to track progress?

Agreed. Easily worth the $3/mo.

Black composition notebook, simple and easy. I might start a word document just to keep track of PRs though.

Re: Tracking Progress...

Hi Brian, I'm using the WODBook from WODBook.com. But I'm also researching creating the ultimate WOD tracker. Would you mind taking my 10 question survey on WOD tracking and maybe passing it around? http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/PLCRN9V

So far I have 25 responses but I'm shooting for 100. Thanks for your help!

Re: Tracking Progress...

Personal blog in combo with my iPhone applications like Evernote and Google Docs. I make sure I use good keywords and categories in Wordpress, esp for PRs and video. I also use the search function alot. Works great and since I'm at a computer pretty much all day, it's easy.
