Breasts of caught my attention

Talking to my butcher a few weeks ago, I asked him if boneless chicken breasts were popular. He said he sells 10lb bags everyday, very nice quality, good value at $1.69 a lb, more though then chicken quarters which I buy from him at .69 a lb. So, I buy a case of 4 x 10lb'rs.

First thought is to grill, smoke and a few other ideas, but my first "go to" is the Crock, hence see pic.

5-6lbs of these big honking breasts, cover in Franks Hot Sauce, come back in 8 hours.

Tasty, Easy, and pretty good value.

Jay, You're a genius. I just bought some boneless chicken breasts. I'm going to have to give this a try. Thanks.

Jay,

When will the cook book be coming out? Maybe you and scott can right up a "what to eat, why do eat and how to cook out" book.

Maybe we could debut the books as prizes at the third annual J&J Meatfest

I have a feeling that recipes with bacon would make up a good chunk of the book

Re: Breasts of caught my attention

I always thought that boneless skinless breasts wouldn't come out right in a crock pot, due to a lack of fat on them.

Are they any good? Or are they too tough?
