portable mat/floor for garage workouts?

Is there such a thing as portable flooring - or just large mats - that could easily be moved in and out of a garage (or onto a driveway), to make the area more workout friendly?

If it makes a difference, I mostly envision using the space for kettlebell workouts, burpees and other kinds of bodyweight stuff.

Re: portable mat/floor for garage workouts?

I use a typical 4'x6' 3/4" inch mat that I drag in and out garage. I have a patio off the back of my garage in my back yard were i like to workout from time to time. I drag the 4x6 3/4" inch mat out for kettlebell work out, deadlifts, burpees you name it. I got my mats (I have 4) at Farm & Fleet because they are cheap ($34 each) you should be able to get them at large exercise equiptment vendors and such.

Re: portable mat/floor for garage workouts?

Yeah what Rob said. I bought four of those from the garage gym store found at the bottom of the crossfit homepage. They were $36 each and they might charge you a fee for breaking up a pallet and then there is shipping but still cheaper then I could find anywhere local. I live in SoCal so I couldn't find a feed store for horse mats and all the gym epuipment places around here want $100 or more per mat.
