My lovely wife, Beth, says "Mike Minium is bringing some SF guys down to CF HQ. Let's meet up and work out with him!"
And like the loving but not-entirely-bright husband that I am, I say "sure"...
But then it turns out that Beth has a client so she can't join us in the workout.
Mike showed up with Jeremy and Tom, and put us through a chipper:

for time:
800 m run
30 Thrusters @ 95 lbs (I did 65 - coming back after a back injury I am building up slowly on back-intensive stuff)
30 pullups
30 wall ball shots
2x over a cargo net (talk about inviting Pukie to come by!)
30 glute-ham situps
30 hyperextensions
30 burpees (with pushup and jump on each)
2 rounds of parallel bars - 2 pbar walks, 2 dips, all the way across.
30 Kettlebell swings (1.5 pood - I did 1 pood, again guarding my back)
30 20" box jumps

I managed it in 45 min 10 sec.
I am wiped out. Utterly brainless now.
Pukie visited Tom on the hyperextensions, but he kept on doing them anyway. That man has cojones.
Oh, and Jeremy got his first muscleup (right on!!) before we got started with Mike's crazyass workout.
First time for me doing a lot of these exercises - thrusters, kettlebell swings, the p-bar walk/dip thang, burpees, box jumps, and wall ball. Coming off a summer/fall of injuries (shoulder surgery and a back injury) I've been hoping to get to the point where my body could handle those exercises. Feels pretty good to have done them (but don't tell Mike that I said that)
Many of my muscle groups are muttering Mike's name with swear words appended. Icing my shoulders as I type this.

Sucker! It sounds like the wife did you in. Now that I think about it sounds like something mine would do.

Hey! I wanted to do the workout! The guys were late and my client showed early! I did do the thrusters and climbed the cargo net!

On the other hand, I think Jonathan is really pleased with himself. Gotta get Mike to come on down once again some time!

You guys all did great. I was happy Jeremy and Tom could make the trip and that Jonathan could join us for some chipper fun.

The highlights were definitely Jeremy getting his first muscle-up and Tom meeting pukie while doing back extensions, then continuing on without pause, then meeting pukie again, then continuing on. What an animal!

We'll have to do it again sometime soon.

Forgot to mention that another highlight was Beth going over the top of the cargo net. She handled it like a seasoned veteran and made it look easy.

Yeah, Doing my first M/U got me pumped and ready for the workout. I have never even touched rings before, I can't wait to get my own.

Had a lot of fun on Sunday. I was thinking about CrossFit all day and night, then I logged in to the website as soon as I got a chance. Of course, it is kind of hard to think about anything else when most of my body is sore. . . really sore.

I had a blast, meeting everyone was the great. We will be making another 'Pilgrimage' soon so anyone interested in going down from the Bay Area, shoot out an email or post it on the forum.
