Re: making different plyobox sizes

Has anyone here ever built a box larger than 24"? I've been stacking bumper plates on top of my 20" so that I can have something taller to jump for fun. It's taken a while but now I can flat-foot jump 45" on top of a box and bumpers but it has become way unstable. The instability ruins my confidence. I'd greatly appreciate it if anyone knows of how to make this box and wouldn't mind sharing the plans or suggestions. polo@sonashvillecrossfit.com

Re: making different plyobox sizes

We made one 32" tall. I'll double check the height tomorrow. I could jump higher, but it'll be dandy for any workout that has repetitive jumping.

We kept the top uniform on all of the boxes. I can get pics if needed. We have;

1 - 12"
2 - 18"
2 - 24"
1 - 32"

I just sanded them today.

I assume you would like dimensions?

Re: making different plyobox sizes

Im planning on using the stall mats for a rubber top as rx'd. i dont really want to pay $40 for the 4x6 mat, then only have 4x4 left over for my flooring, but i guess its better than your shoes chipping away at the plywood when they scrape against the corner of the top.
