Here's an article about Reebok's new campaign. Should be an interesting year.

i don't think Nike will be able to take the CF market until Reebok's contract with CF is over. Reebok are the only company that is allowed to use the CrossFit name which is HUGE.

Re: Nike Metcon

I wonder if the Games are going to continue with their 'everyone has to wear Reebok' policy, particularly with an ever increasing number of athletes sponsored by other companies (I'm mostly thinking of Invictus and Outlaw who are with Nike)?

I don't have any kind of a stake in whether or not they do, but Crossfit/Reebok forcing every athlete to wear their stuff really turns me off wanting to support them.

Can't wait to try the Metcon!

I honestly don't think it's that big of a deal. Inov8, NB and even Vibram penetrated the market fairly well without any sort of endorsement from CF.

Tons of affiliates really pushed the Nano's hard because they could actually sell them and make a decent margin. Now that has dried up. You can find them at outlet stores and online for the same price, if not less.

I appreciate their support for our community, but feel their days as top dawg (CF) are numbered.

Anyone know if they will be sold at Brick and Mortar locations? I was thinking maybe NikeTown in Chicago?

I'm not sure about in their store, but finish line will have it online, so maybe they will carry it in their store as well.

Just a heads up, military can get 20% off finish line website.

Nice, how do you prove your military status with them?

I also spoke with a rep at a local Dick's Sporting Goods and they said they'll have them. I'm sure that will vary per store

Do you know for sure that Finsih Line will have it? I've called 3 in South Florida and they aren't aware of the shoe.
