All "olympic" size bars and plates/weights fit together; the bar ends are 2" diameter and the holes are 2".

So, yes.

Not all! It depends on the tolerance of the bar and the weights. And they aren't "2inch " exactly.

Re: Pendlay HD Bar + Bumpers

I also use a Pendlay bar, and I have some york weights, and they fit fine.

To add to the discussion... York weights seem to fit on anything, at least on all the different bar brands I have. Its the york bars that are sometimes a bit picky about what weights they will allow, ours wont allow zhangkong weights, some Ivanko weights, or any Uesaka weights, and someone I know just had to post a sign telling people not to use their Eleiko weights with their new B&R bar, because evidently it was quite a challenge getting a stuck one off of it. Reportedly required hammers and such to accomplish it. To be fair I do know of other york bars, including a york elite that I have, that allow all eleiko weights with no problem. go figure.

So, York bumpers = good on anything, York bar equals be a bit careful.

Re: Pendlay HD Bar + Bumpers

Glenn,

There were a few B&R bars where the tolerances did not stack up well on the collars.

This spec has since been changed and is no longer an issue.

So no need to be careful.
