I am going on vacation in a week. I will not have access to the website. I need substitutions for the WOD for a week. I will have access to pull up bars and a medicine ball. What should I do?

I've heard those fancy drinks with the umbrellas in them pack quite a punch.

Cindy or Chelsea is one (or two). Mary is another. In fact, if you look at the FAQs for the girls, you can find quite a few that only need the pullup bar. Angie is another I think (isn't she the 100 pullups, pushups, sit ups, squats?)

If you have a friend you can do some medicine ball tossing. Play a game of hoover ball if you have a net.

If you have a solid wall, you have wall ball.

Then there is the "prisoners workout" and it's variants. Start on one side of the room and do a certain number of an exercise (say 30 push ups). Then walk to the other side of the room and do one number down (29 push ups), back to the other side for 28, etc. to zero. Do whatever exercise you want, pushups, sit ups, air squats are all good.

You could do some overhead squats with the medicine ball. Or thrusters....

Or you could take a deck of cards. Decide on four exercises - one for each suit. The pick a card and do that number of the designated exercise - such as 3 squats for the 3 of diamonds for example. Then pick another card - say the five of spades - do five pullups. Then continue until you die or finish the deck.

There is a whole gym for you if you have the pullup bar and a medicine ball!

Have a great vacation and remember to play hard.

Pullup burpees are your friend... "G.I. Jane" == 100 pullup burpees for time.
