Tommy H on Broken Skull Challenge

I ran across this the other night. Not sure if it was rerun or not. Cool to see a Crossfitter on there. I just caught the last challenge though. Anyone else see the whole thing?

I recorded the whole thing and watched it the other day. He pretty much dominated everyone he went up against.

He won the whole thing by like 7 seconds at the end. It would've been a blowout too but he dragged his toe at the very end in this one section where you couldn't touch the ground and had to redo the whole part.

Tommy was awesome. i also liked how he didn't do the whole "look at me i am a tough guy act" like some of the rest.

I'm guessing it's WFS due to language being bleeped out.

Much better than the first time they had a CFer. I recall him just being arrogant and not able to back up his talk. This is a much better representation for the community.

Re: Tommy H on Broken Skull Challenge

Okay. I'm going to say it. That show is dumb. The trash talking sounded like it was all written by the same producer.

Still, it appealed to me in a way similar to the way The Bachelor appeals to my wife, I guess. Stupid fun.

I got a kick out of some of the things that were very much in the wheelhouse of a competitve CrossFitter like Tommy:
- 60# log run? Check.
- Rope climb? Check.
- Climbing over a wall? Check.
- Sled drag? Check.
- Hill climb? Check.

I chuckled through the show, thinking it was practically made for Tommy to win.

I wonder what he had on his black t-shirt that they made him turn it inside out?

Yeah, the dialogue was horrible. And Stone Cold afterwards was like "What did you think of that rope climb?" or something, as if he thought it was some incredibly hard obstacle. Tommy was just like "Uh, yeah. It was harder than it would normally be after all the other stuff?"

Re: Tommy H on Broken Skull Challenge

That course pushed him.. yes would have smashed that record if he did not drag the toe... he was huffing and puffing..

Tommy would be one of my top choices for doing that type of thing. The other x fitters are too small. I don't think that Danny H or Sam D have that type of athletic background.. Maybe Marcus H?

Wonder if Tommy gets another 10k if no one beats his time? Hope so he deserves it.
