Never before seen pushups/pushup variations - 17 years old

Hey guys! It's been a long time since I posted on the board, maybe 2 months or so. Recently I went to a high school leadership conference, and for the talent show, displayed some really crazy pushups that I've been working on for a couple years now.

I'd love it if people could take 2 or 3 minutes out of their day to check it out. It was a fun thing to perform, and you might not have seen any of these before.

Also, if anyone has seen a "clapping aztec pushup" elsewhere, feel free to drop me a line. I've looked, but I've yet to find anyone else so far.

Nice.

Ok, I've never seen the pushup pop 1/2 turn. On trampoline I/we do/have done front drop 1/2 turn or full turn but this is also done by tucking and pushing off the knees a bit. I think we called them turntables or something.

I've seen something similar to the Aztec pushups called "Wheels" by GymnasticBodies.

A variant I saw was like a pushup with your feet on the sliders and you pull your feet in piked as you push forward off the ground in the air. Or maybe that's just one of the way I did them.

Was that a triple clap or a double clap? I've seen and done double claps but triple claps were always face plants/prone falls after you get the third clap in.

Hah, you Canadians pronouncing "Planche" all francaise like. Luckily your crowd wasn't a bunch of gymnastic snobs but it's good even if it wasn't exact. At first I thought you were just gonna do a frog stand to HS and was thinking, WTH?

Pretty good standing back flip. I haven't done one since I nearly killed myself trying to do one in a pair of jeans and cons in the winter/spring at work.

Cool performance and very impressive! My favorite was the 3rd one when you went from that yoga pose to the handstand

Yep haha I'm an ex-trampolinist, and current trampoline coach myself, which is where I got the idea. It was three claps :P

Thanks to both of ya!

Just play some Epic conan (the old one) music in the background or something similar.

I think I actually saw an optional routine using that music one time and of course, thought it was really cool.

Very impressive stuff. Was reminded of this thread when I saw this video (WFS). Ross Enamait does a weighted triple-clap pushup just before the 1 minute mark. Not sure when that was recorded though.
