Re: Knee Sleeves

I wear the Elite FTS sleeves and really like them. The only negative to this particular brand is that they start to chafe the back of my knees (they're not neoprene). So i might give another brand a shot in a few months.

I am not old, and I do not have achy joints and I will never purposely squat without them again. If I forget them at home or something I won't let that ruin my workouts, but whatev...

Wraps on the other hand are a little different. They're not really for insulating and I doubt you're going to be keeping them on between lifts. I would only wear wraps if you want to push up close to a true max. Even then probably not outside of a competition. Not that they're bad, but i do think they become a crutch if you start to use them too frequently. Just my opinion though.

Re: Knee Sleeves

I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks knee sleeves look stupid (and certainly are not a "fashion statement"), and would never wear them for any purpose other than functionality. I have used them from time to time, but I doubt they made me look any better.

What?! Not fashionable?! You mean to tell me my bright red Adidas weightlifters DON'T look good with blue Rehbands?

Re: Knee Sleeves

Red and blue is patriotic so it has to be fashionable! Least here in America!

I asked this on the Pendlay forum and sounds like they are similar to Rehbands, probably a close second and $47/pair instead of $80. I'll be ordering some.

Re: Knee Sleeves

I posted in that same thread on the Pendlay forum. Once you get them do you think you could post a quick review here? I'd like to know a little bit more about them before ordering.
