To echo others, I stalled fast on 5x5 once I got started with lifting. I think something like Texas method, Madcow, Westside etc. would yield better results. OR you could just do CF Football and not worry about this programming madness.

well this program put 30kgs on my squat 20kgs on my bench in 8 weeks lol

yeah I had just forgot about this post my numbers are
squat 160kg Fsquat 130kg bench 135kg C&J 120kg snatch 90kg press 80kg deadlift 210kg not all programs would of given what 5x5 gave me in such a short period especially not the wendler 531 |

stopped doing entirely based strenght and back on metcons my squat and bench havnt risen in 6 months

i just do wendler isnt heavy at all 5x5 is hard work i just know it

Jim Wendler and anyone who's done his program would disagree with you, seeing how it has you working up to 5+, 3+, or 1+ sets on every lifting day. The 3+ and 1+ sets in particular are at a much higher % of your 1RM than a 5x5 set would be. |

o well its different for everyone i did wendler for 4 weeks it was alright not as good as 5x5 though
