Can Somebody Explain this to me..

I thought this year sectionals was going to be through an online submission process or through level 1 certified coach verification, but this looks like a Sectional Event. Tell me what you think or if you know what is going on.

It's one of the 6 qualifier workouts for the sectionals. They're just allowing people a way to do it in a group competition setting rather than in their garage or gym.

Thanks Eric. A guy at our box showed everyone this link yesterday and we didn't know what to think. We were all under the impression that it wouldn't be until Regionals that large scale competition would be held. Guess I'm going to Columbus!

Well you can if you want to, but it's not required. This looks like just an optional things to do. You could just as easily do the workout in your gym.

I understand that we don't have to compete at this competition, but I look forward to talking with others in the community at events like this. Thanks again.

Re: Can Somebody Explain this to me..

Went to the Arnold Sectional last year. Great event. The whole experience was cool. Definitely make some time and walk around grabbing freebies, wished I had. Spent most of my time competing/watching the sectional so I didn't get out much. Missed the USAW demo also, which is a bummer when I think back.

Oh yeah, definitely, if you're within a few hours' drive of there I'd say it's a good event to attend, even if you end up only watching others compete. Getting used to performing in a competition setting also has its benefits.
