Just talked to John, women are encouraged to enter, the weight for the woman's bench test will be 135lbs.

probably because most of the girls you know are CFers and "cfers don't bench"

I was pretty close to 135x1 before i stopped training it, and that was before i knew what strength training was. I wouldn't be surprised if there were high level CFing women that have a 135lb bench.

As far as a scouting combine goes (yes I realize it's not actually an NFL tryout lol), it's not really about your max, it's about repetitive power. You typically see guys in the 10-40 rep range. I'd be very hard pressed to find too many girls that can rep out 135 all day lol. A few reps is definitely reasonable though.

Have you ever watched a bench press at a combine?? I would say its closer to a back flip than a legitimate bench press. lol

Agreed lol. Everyone knows its bs, but the arching isn't really any worse than what I see at most PL meets. Still, I youtube'd the first video was a guy doing 41 pretty legit reps.

My wife. Maybe not a ton of reps but her max bench I believe is 185.

Her max squat is 285 and her max dead is 315.

Last time I did the 225 rep test I did 14 reps......so so so so pitiful. Oh well if this is an annual event I may just think about going next year and training this year.
I used to run a decent 40 for a fat guy!

Agree. At the CFFB Cert, good was probably 15-20 reps. Nobody got more than 25. I think the record, from what John, said, was like 31 at the time. I got 15 and weighed in at about 187.
