My Testimonial - Fail Often, Fail Fast
I just started a blog and I hope to write a quick entry per a day leading up to the games and doing some data analysis on the results. I'm a math guy and I love looking at Crossfit numbers and analyzing fitness benchmarks.
Anyways, my first post is "Fail Often, Fail Fast". You can read the whole post here: http://2011crossfitgames.com/post/75...ften-fail-fast Please feel free to link to this post in your own blogs, or follow it on Tumblr! An excerpt: When I first began, I could barely do a push-up or a pull-up. At my first Level 1 attempt, I struggled to get 8 pushups when others effortlessly did 40. When I attempted pull-ups, the entire Crossfit team cheered as I completed my 2nd and final attempt for the night. 10 seemed beyond reach. It took me 5 and a half months to pass Level 1 on 3 different attempts. During that period I had also set a personal record of 20 un-assisted pull-ups. |
