For a WOD like Barbara, what is the official crossfit sit-up?

I would imagine there is no such thing, anything is fair game. Lynne's FAQ makes the same point. For Barbara I anchor my feet, Greg A. does so in the CrossFit DVD and I wanna beat his time...some WOD's I don't anchor my feet. Other than that back hits the floor, move body to perpendicular to the ground or beyond. Full range of motion is more important than hand position, leg positions, incline, decline, facial expression...

I do all kinds-many times changing completely the nature of the ab exercise in order to fit in something different.

I might do them feet anchored or not, I might do L-holds or L-sits, I might do standing crunches, I might lie on my bench and just try to do stiff-leg raises with as much intensity...you name it.

I've also been looking for a good pair of gravity boots to use on my pull-up station but no luck as of yet...

BTW-I remember another ab thread quite a while back with you Bill-am I right?

I want to get the DVD. If that is the example, that is what I will start doing.
Thanks.

Justin, the DVD rocks.
As a special request to Coach and Lauren, I'd like at least a 5-minute portion dedicated to Athena's Tabata sprints next time:biggrin:
