Re: CrossFit and/vs Yoga

If only I had quite powerlifting and had been doing yoga all of this time I would have a 3000 lbs total....

Yoga is only going to make someone who is weak stronger. There is nothing wrong with yoga, and it can be a good adjunct to resistance training, but to imply it can replace resistance training is pure folly.

Re: CrossFit and/vs Yoga

I agree with Chris, Yoga shouldn't replace standard workout, but it should be included in a weekly exercise schedule in my opinion. It's good to have balance of many different types of workouts.
I will train and eat clean today because it will make me healthier than I was yesterday.

In any case, this thread has degenerated somewhat, and I fear I have been a prime mover in this particular direction. I chose to neglect to ask myself my two 'screening' questions before hitting 'Submit Reply';
"Why am I actually answering this?", and
"Will this actually help?"

Apologies to Rachel, Katherine, and all posters.
I was simply being argumentative, not constructive, and offered little in the way of a positive addition to the discussion.

Old as this thread is, I'd like to commend Justin on his apology. Bravo, sir. Spoken like a gentleman. If only more people were capable of this.
