A guy responding to how easy the Filthy 50 is:

"I'm in such superior shape than you.

Throwing a 25 lb medicine ball 6 feet into the air 50 times isn't going to tire me out, nor will doing 50 box jumps, nor will doing 50 kipping pullups, or 50 kettlebell swings. "

----------

I'll bet no one has ever heard this before...not to mention he left 1/2 the workout out and misrepresented parts of the other half!!!

I love Crossfit and to some extent I like how uncomfortable it makes "regular" people. If that qualifies as elitist thinking, then I am guitly (with a smile on my face).

Re: A guy responding to how easy the Filthy 50 is:

That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

Unfortunately I never got to do F50 before getting in shape and I had the bright idea to try it during the first week. To this day it's the only workout I've tapped out of. I'd love to try it again in a couple of months to see where I stand, shoulder permitting.

That said...I'd rather do FGB while someone beats me with a bar if given the choice between that and F50.

I do not care who you are filthy fifty is a horrible experience.

that and the Lynne + BW back squats are probably the two most challenging wods I have done.

I'm on schedule to do the filthy fifty tomorrow morning....been dreading it for 5 weeks knowing it was coming up.

But after reading this, I feel like I want bang it out right now.

Re: A guy responding to how easy the Filthy 50 is:

I actually enjoy the F50, in fact it's my favorite WOD. Granted by the time it comes around to the burpees i'm wishing I was dead but that's part of why I love it.

For some reason Murph has been my bane, in fact in 7 months of doing CrossFit I've attempted it 3 times and have yet been able to finish it.

F50 sucks, but Cindy is the one that crushes my soul like no other. For F50 it's the K2E, Burpees and Wallballs that are the worst, the rest isn't so bad.
