Yoga & Crossfit

I am curious as to how yoga has influenced people's Crossfit practice and how Crossfit has influenced their yoga practice. I'm especially interested in how it influences how trainers train. I know their are a few people who are experienced yoga teachers and Crossfit trainers. Keith from Crossfit Virtuosity has even posted some yoga videos on his website aimed at assisting Crossfiters.

Re: Yoga & Crossfit

I have been doing yoga for several years and love it. I'm never tight through my legs or my back, and my movements have become quicker and more fluid over the years

Re: Yoga & Crossfit

I find Yoga is a great thing to do on a rest day and AFTER a WOD. I use to stretch after each work out, but now that I do yoga for about 10 minutes when finished, it helps my body to relax, is a great cool down and the next day my muscles aren't nearly as tight and the DOMS is less intense.

It has also helped my balance and body awareness for rock climbing. So overall it gets a thumbs up from me.
