"Free" Free Weights

I spent the afternoon cleaning out my garage and realized I have hundreds of pounds of change that I have never used. If anyone would like some 2 1/2, 5, 10, 25, or 35 pound steel plates you can have them for free as long as you give them a good home and use them. You also have to pick them up in Gloucester, VA.

I also have a plate tree and a deadlift helper that I don't use with the same deal as the plates. Just put them to good use.

Also, I'm keeping my eyes open for bumper plates and a weightlifting bar. If anyone know of any laying around in the corner of the gym please let me know. I own a quality power bar but its too stiff. I need something with more spring to it.

Shoot me an email you you would like some plates, dl helper, or plate tree. Put "equipment" in the subject line so I don't delete your message.

Jason

Re: "Free" Free Weights

I will pick them up next summer when I am in Gloucester. Just kidding, I am sure someone will take them of your hands before then. Hopefully we can get a workout in next year.

Oh sure, now to tell me - when I'm 3000+ miles away!

How the heck has your training been Jason?

Re: "Free" Free Weights

Veronica,

Training is going well. PR's so far, or as John likes to call them "a new world record by someone named Jason Beck", are 105kg snatch, 140kg clean, and 125kg Jerk. Not too shabby after only a few month of weightlifting. My shoulders are finally starting to stop hurting so that Jerk should start catching up with my clean soon. We are hitting a competition Aug. 10th so I will keep you updated. You can keep an eye on my training here....

Joseph,

Don't forget to let me know next time you are in town.

Re: "Free" Free Weights

Sorry, Deadlift jack is spoken for. Still have dumbell handles, a few 10's, I think one set of 35's, and tons of 5's and 2 1/2's.
